5 out of 5 starsIn contrast to Stopping for Coffee and Cake, Foraging for Sea Berries is just cute (not funny as well). It's a sweet story, As with Stopping for Coffee and Cake, I got this for a Christmas present so I haven't tried any of the recipes yet. It's printed on card stock, about the height of my hand, and bound with staples. It contains 9 recipes, for: -Ginger and pear honey cake -Linzertorte -Rice pudding -Chocolate cut-out biscuits -Cheesecake -Weekend bread (multigrain) -Kifli (walnut-raspberry danish sorts of things) -Dreamcake (coconut spice cake) -Five-spice gingerbread (requires Chinese five spice) Recipes are given in metric measurements (g, ml, tsp, degrees C)

5 out of 5 starsI got this for a Christmas present, so I haven't actually tried any of the recipes yet, but the story is cute and hilarious. I'm looking forward to giving it to my sister, hearing about her trying the recipes, and finding out whether my nephew gets to use it as a coloring book (once he's old enough to use a crayon). It's printed on good card paper, approximately the height of my hand, and bound with staples.
