My art is mostly stream-of-consciousness & catharsis. Ego beasties & squishy brain demons inhabit sketchbooks and the strongest ones make it onto screens.

I use both photo emulsion and drawing fluid methods to make silk screens with my designs. Everything is printed in my kitchen using acrylic textile ink. All fabric and garments are second hand, recycled, and pre-worn. Prints dry for two days and are then heat set in the dryer for two hours. Each garment is a unique, one-of-a-kind, piece of wearable artwork.

Dyeing is done with Procion dye. Fabric is treated with HP+ to balance the pH of the water, soaked in dye overnight, rinsed, washed with PROsapol, and finally washed with detergent.

Sewing is done by my mom, Laurie Todd. She sews the patches onto garments, as well as constructs skirts & shirts from scratch using both fabric scraps and new fabric.

Pinback buttons are pressed by hand by me with an automatic pinmaker. I use photocopies of my original drawings, cut out sections of my old posters, and found art in magazines and comics.
