How do you calculate shipping?
Shipping is an estimate from Idaho to the East Coast. For an exact shipping charge, please contact us prior to purchase. We always refund shipping overages of $1 or more.
How do you ship?
We ship through USPS via Priority Mail as well as FedEx Home Delivery. For larger packages, FedEx can be a more cost effective way to go.
Do you take layaway or hold orders?
Yes! We can put an item on hold or reserve for you for 24 hours and we also will hold an item for 60 days through our layaway system. For layaway we require a 25% non-refundable payment.
What do I do if an item breaks in transit?
If you receive a broken item, please get ahold of us right away and we ask that you send us photo verification so that we can return your money and also to file a claim with USPS.
Are your items new?
All of the items we sell are vintage and pre-loved items. We do our best to list every item in great detail however these are vintage items and wear and usage does show. Occasionally we find items unused in their boxes and we will make note if an item is new and unused. Expect there to be a few surface scuffs, patina and prior usage to your new treasures.
Do you ever offer discounts?
We occasionally have sales and we typically announce these through our Instagram account. Follow us on Instagram to be the first to hear about our sales!
Is this your only Etsy shop?
We have a handmade shop where we offer corn filled heating pads, hand warmers, organic lavender eye pillows and cotton drink sleeves. You can find it at etsy.com/shop/sandhollowtrading
What do I do if an item is lost or stolen?
You will have to file a claim with USPS if your item was not received. Once it leaves our hands, we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Make sure you are putting in an address that is a safe place to have your package delivered.
As an international buyer, who's responsible for import and customs fees? What if an order is refused?
You, as the purchaser are responsible for all import and customs fees. If an item is refused at customs and sent back to us, we charge a 40% restocking fee.
What if I want to return an item that was 'Free Shipping'?
If you need to ship back an item that doesn't work for you, shipping charges are your responsibilty. We also will deduct what actual shipping was before we offer you a refund. Please read descriptions carefully before agreeing to purchase an item.
