Artist By Day, Army Men Necklace Maker By Night

I made my first Army Men necklace for a gala with a "recycled" theme and it was a hit! Likened to clusters of coral, upon closer inspection, admirers were surprised to see that the necklace was actually made up of toy soldiers.

The necklaces are created with spray painted plastic toy soldiers. Repeated wearing is meant to lead to the graceful wear of the Army Men, evoking a patina reminiscent of military equipment, uniforms, etc. Perfect for someone in the military or just to evoke nostalgia of childhood memories.
