Where it all began:
I was taught how to crochet at the age of thirteen or so. I enjoyed it for a while and then got too busy being a teen to devote much time my work. Once I graduated high school, I decided to travel the US with Renaissance Reenactment Festivals to get a view of the states and experience new and exciting culture. This nomadic lifestyle was very eye-opening and full of experience of all sorts. I had plenty of free time to indulge in my creative outlets, being that I generally only worked on weekends. In that time off, I picked my old needlecraft hobby back up and added many techniques to my skill set. Even beyond needlecraft, I was adding many other crafting skills to my background due to the kind of work that was offered to me at each festival. These skills included wire-wrapping, jewelry-making, leather book binding, leather embossing, and many more. I traveled for about two and half years before settling down in Texas though I was born and raised in North Carolina.
I suppose my idea to turn my hobby into a business truly began when I found out I was expecting a child, which was almost a year after I settled down. I knew it would be very nice to have work at home so that I could devote plenty of time to my baby.
I generally crank out whatever projects I feel like making each day; unique baby clothes, matching necklace for mom, a cute Mori Girl clutch, Boho hairpieces, etc.
You can expect to see many new items coming up very soon. I am eager to send you your next new decor and adornments and am constantly on the lookout for new ideas/trends! :)
