5 out of 5 starsI so enjoyed reading Finally a Vegan! As a vegan myself, I found myself nodding along with so much of what Stephanie writes. In particular, I found her honesty about the dilemma of binning non-vegan clothing items, refreshing. Getting rid of a leather wallet will not bring that animal back, and so we all must explore our chosen line individually. In fact, perhaps that's what I love most about this book—that Stephanie shares the truth that it's okay for the road to veganism, to be a journey. We don't have to change everything right then and there. Instead, we can extend grace to ourselves—and others—by acknowledging our combined walk towards ending animal suffering. All the accessible and useful recipes are a fab bonus! Thanks for sharing your story, Stephanie.🥰

4 out of 5 starsIn this book, Stephanie Jane talks about her own eating habits over the years and her gradual shift; it makes for most interesting reading and is written in a conversational, friendly tone that I liked very much. She also details events and books that led to her taking the plunge, and her own first Veganuary food diaries. You'll find her recipes for basics such as roti flatbreads, dips, hummus and many more. Going the extra mile, Stephanie gives advice on how expensive (or not) veganism may be, and addresses the health benefits and potential problems to look out for, kitchen tips, the leather and plastic issue - there is a chapter called How Vegan Do I Want To Be? To sum up, it's a complete vegan lifestyle handbook, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is vegan-curious, or about to start out on Veganuary 2021

5 out of 5 starsI like the expert workmanship most of all. It may not be easy to pour out your heart and soul into each one of these flowers but that is exactly what shows through with this craftswoman!
