Ever since I could hold a crayon (it seems!) I was recruited as "the card maker" of the family. For every family birthday, graduation, anniversary, or holiday I sat down and got to work on a personalized bit of my imagination. It was a win-win-- I got to draw/create/imagine and the recipient ended up with something completely personalized and unique. There's something beautiful in the way someone lights up when you hand them a piece of your soul; something that, a few hours ago, didn't exist, but does now and it's got their name and their personality [with some of mine sprinkled in!] all over it.
Years have gone by-- I'd like to think some of my techniques have improved and some things have changed but I know one thing will remain the same-- every time I sit down to make a card for someone, whether I'm giving it away or someone is kind enough to purchase one, it will be unique to them and made with as much love as these hands can muster.
I started a blog [https://www.stephaniewscribbles.blogspot.com!] to keep a visual portfolio of all of the creations that happen in my day to day life [because I do get attached to a lot of them!] and to share some of the joy, some of the bad puns, and some of the experiences and stories that go along with each creation.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your look around!
Thanks again and I look forward to hearing from you!
xx
