Announcement    MOST DIY PARTS ORDERS NOW SHIP SAME DAY!*
I am proud to present my handcrafted Steampunk and industrial pipe lamps - rustic light sculptures with modern conveniences! Each lamp has something unique to offer. Functional conversation pieces for any home or office. Makes a fantastic gift for that person that's impossible to buy for.

I now also offer exclusive DIY lamp making parts like rotary dimmers, bulb sockets, smartphone cradles, lamp nipple thread adapters, analog volt meters, power outlets, power cords, glass insulator kits, and much more. Most parts orders now ship same day*.

*Some exceptions are unusually large orders, some custom orders, some orders where paint and/or epoxy has to dry/cure, and/or orders that come in past my daily cutoff time (usually 4:30pm Eastern Time). I understand how exciting working on a project can be, so I do everything I can do ship my parts orders as quickly as possible, while still maintaining the highest quality. I even ship on Saturdays whenever I can.

Every business has to have some sort of "fine print", so here's mine:

LISTINGS, PHOTOS, and DESCRIPTIONS:
I do everything I can to keep all of my listings up to date, to assure that the product(s) you buy are pictured and described as accurately as possible - nothing worse than a misleading ad! But please note that I reserve the right to add, remove, or change available products, prices, shipping costs, lead times, specifications, photos, descriptions, included item(s), and/or materials/brands/colors of the raw materials I use without notice. This has never really been an issue, but I just like to be thorough, and set proper expectations.

SAFETY & WARRANTY:
Some of my products (namely, my DIY parts) require proper electrical experience to safely wire to your project. You are responsible for the safe wiring of your project. For liability reasons, I cannot provide detailed and/or step-by-step instructions. Dimmers cannot be returned if they are burned out or overloaded due to improper wiring and/or voltage. Warranty does not cover parts that are physically or cosmetically damaged (including chipped paint) due to mishandling, dropping/falling, over-tightening, accident, abuse, rust/exposure to water, outdoor installation, or neglect.

COSMETIC APPEARANCE:
My products are hand-made from a variety of parts, some of which may be vintage, antique, and/or industrial. So it should not be surprising if one or more things such as rust, corrosion, scratches, nicks/dents, tool marks, brush marks, etc. may sometimes be seen on various elements of my lamps and parts - but these things most often enhance their unique, handmade appearance. I use real industrial pipes and fittings, which are not made to be perfect or to look pretty, so minor variations in things like threads, thread spacing, brandings/markings, finishes/patinas, dimensions/tolerances, and/or angles are normal and to be expected at times. Whenever possible, I buy my raw materials in person, so I can personally pick out the best ones - but sometimes I have no choice but to order raw materials online, and sometimes when they arrive, they might not always be cosmetically perfect (for example, a conduit body and/or its cover may have a scratch or scuff on it). I am an OCD neat freak - but sometimes, traces of epoxy, paint/brush marks, and/or tool marks may be evident in some areas of my lamps and/or parts. This has also never really been an issue, but I'm a firm believer in setting proper expectations.

PACKING & SHIPPING:
I do everything possible to assure that your product(s) will arrive safely, without being overly wasteful with packing materials. I re-use and recycle whenever it makes the most sense. I use only Renature™ corn starch packing peanuts, which dissolve in water, are compostible, and can be disposed of in normal domestic waste. Sometimes I may re-use or recycle packing materials that I received from other packages, but I promise to never use those horrible styrofoam peanuts, which have terrible static cling, and are terrible for the environment.

Unfortunately, with the way Etsy is currently set up, there is no way for me to specify that a certain "variation" of an item weighs more or less than the other variation(s), so sometimes Etsy will overestimate the shipping costs. I use flat rate boxes whenever it makes the most sense, and in most cases I will refund any significant shipping overages. If the shipping cost seems way too high, you can always contact me before you place your order, and I can give you the most accurate estimate possible.

There are also times when I may decide to give you a free upgrade to Priority Mail shipping - this is at my own discretion, and I can't always promise that I will do this, but sometimes it just costs me a few cents more, so I will do it when I can.

Please message me if you have any questions or concerns - I always do my best to respond within just a few minutes, or within 24 hours whenever possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I just buy all the parts for a lamp as a kit, and assemble it myself? I know what I'm doing, and I don't care if it doesn't come out right, I just want the parts.

I actually get asked this a lot. I'm sorry, but I don't do this for many reasons. Mostly because of safety and liability, but also because proper and safe assembly of my lamps sometimes requires specialized tools, skills, supplies, equipment, and/or procedures that most people don't have access to. My lamp designs took years to create and perfect, and creating and including thorough, easy-to-understand instructions for them would not only be incredibly difficult and time consuming, but it would give away all of the proprietary and exclusive methods and procedures that are used to build them. You are welcome to purchase a finished lamp, and take it apart and tinker with it, but I regret that I can't just sell you a box of parts.

What kind of warranty do you offer on your finished lamps?

I offer a one-year warranty on the functionality of your lamp, which starts the day you receive it. However, my warranty does not cover "everything". If your lamp shows any signs of physical or accidental damage (such as, from being dropped or having fallen), or if it has been abused, neglected (including left outside), misused, modified, tampered with, gotten wet, or disassembled, repair and/or replacement is not covered. My warranty also does not cover cosmetic damage (for example, chipped paint, rust, nicks, dents, or scratches) or consumables such as light bulbs or cables.

You *must* contact me first, before returning any defective lamp. I will discuss the issue with you, troubleshoot if necessary, and authorize a return if necessary.

What kind of warranty do you offer on your DIY parts?

DIY PARTS WARRANTY:
I offer a 90-day warranty against manufacturing defects on my DIY parts. Any sort of physical damage (including drops, falls, abuse, neglect, misuse, tampering, disassembly, and/or liquid damage) is not covered. Cosmetic issues (such as rust, chipped paint, nicks, scratches, or dents) are not covered.

Dimmers are not covered under warranty if they are burned out due to improper wiring, voltage, or wattage, or if they are overloaded, installed or used outdoors, or used to control anything other than light bulbs (such as motors or fans).

You *must* contact me *before* returning any parts for warranty coverage. I will discuss the issue with you (including troubleshooting), and authorize a return, if applicable.
