This is the cutest print and perfect for my front entryway. Far beyond the beauty of the printable, however, was the exceptional customer service I received with this purchase. This printable was originally listed without the size I needed and I contacted the seller asking if she could produce the 16x20 size. She made it for me within a few hours! Not only that, but after I had purchased this, I realized that I needed the print in a JPEG file and not a PDF. So I asked her once again to help me out and she quickly and happily made it into a JPEG for me. She was so sweet and although I felt like I was super needy, she kindly responded to my messages as if we were old friends. I can not recommend this shop enough!

Our Brave Journey

My passion is creating custom and rustic home decor, that has previously been solely enjoyed by my husband and our moms. Then our church, Crossroads in Cincinnati, began a series call The Brave Journey. During the series we were encouraged to listen to what God was calling us to, and to take a brave new step towards where He was leading us. Now I am stepping out and offering my creations to a wider audience!

My hope is that you find the perfect piece (or pieces!) from my shop to add rustic charm and joy to your home. Like my shop but don't see exactly what you are looking for? I would love to make a piece that is uniquely you! Simply request a custom order and I will work up a design for you.

The Sweet Chalk Design Process
To create my custom hand-painted signs, I take pallet wood and break it down, sand it, and refinish it with chalk paint. Each design is done by hand, without the use of stencils or computer graphics. I start by drawing out a custom design on paper, and then transferring it to the sign using graphite paper. Then I take my tiny brush and paint on the design. Each sign is finished with a clear creme wax to protect the design and give it a smooth finish.

Awesome and supportive husband! Adam helps salvage and reclaim wood used to make our signs. He cuts and sands every piece, and helps with the painting or staining before handing it over to Courtney. This shop would NOT run without this man!
