When I started The Lost Words, I was only a sophomore in college without much of a clue what my direction was and that ultimately led me to having nothing in the shop for a year or two. After that failure, I realized I needed to try again and really create something different and with character. So I pushed to solely focus on hand lettering my own products that were special and meaningful to me. I'm still growing, but I love seeing when people buy my pieces from across the country. It's really amazing!
