(1) To create the most authentic looking replica signs, we use reclaimed wood sourced from all over New England. Species of wood varies upon what we have in stock. Variation in wood surface, tone, coloration, and texture will occur due to use of reclaimed materials. Every effort is made to faithfully replicate the original signage, and to create authentic weathering effects, but each replica is unique. For new sign pieces that will live outdoors, we generally use cedar.

(2) IF YOU ARE ORDERING FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT: orders placed after December 1 are not guaranteed for Christmas delivery. We will do everything we can to make it happen but cannot issue guarantees. What we can do, if you order looks like it won't make it in time, is provide a digital "card" you can print out and give on Christmas morning, saying you have a gift on the way. IF YOU ARE PURCHASING A CHRISTMAS PRESENT NOTE IT WHEN YOU CHECK OUT! 🎄

(3) SHIPPING: TrailSigns usually ships using the U.S. Postal Service. We've had good results but if you live somewhere that the USPS won't/can't deliver and/or prefer another shipping service, MAKE A NOTE when you place your order, or send a message prior to ordering. We will ship UPS or FedEx upon request. Typically for orders over $500 we will insure thru the P.O. for the full value: this will require a signature at arrival. Keep this in mind. Using a business address, if possible, is a good idea in this instance. If you live out West we may choose to ship UPS.

(4) IF YOU HAVE A DEADLINE - if your sign is a gift or decor for an upcoming event - please make a note of it when you order. There will be a place to include a note to the seller, please note your deadline here. Or, send a message prior to ordering. Trailsigns normally works on a 4-6 week turnaround for large custom pieces but will always try to accommodate your timetables.

(5) IF YOU PURCHASE MULTIPLE ITEMS you may receive a refund on part of the shipping cost. Feel free to contact us if you would like to request a shipping overage refund.

(6) You are not limited to what's in our shop! We make tons of CUSTOM WORK. If you have a picture of what you'd like, send it along and we can make it.
