I was so excited to order my magnets but I was most excited for this little guy. The octopus is definitely my favorite, the details of the suction cups are beautiful! Hi there!

Thank you for stopping by my Etsy shop!

I'm a very happy Etsy shop owner of two and a half years. Here I get to share my work with you and find forever homes for my pot babies. I've been working with clay for about 3 years, and slowly discovering my style through making. I started on the wheel and fully moved to hand-building about a year ago. Clay is a wonderful medium, it can be molded, pushed and expanded to make my imaginary creations into physical pieces that I can hold in my hands. Yet it also has it's rules and always reminding me that making and creating is a slow process, making beautiful work requires patience and lots of failures. I work in a wonderful community ceramics studio, and I'm very much inspired by my studio mates and our visiting artist. However, I don't have specific influences or stories behind my pieces, I simply love making and love the feeling of pinching into clay. I am also very interested in capturing movements of clay, or trying to use it to create movement. I love the seams, and folds on clay surface, the breaking and cracks of a perfectly smooth surface. I make pieces with faces, because they make me happy, and I hope they can also make others happy:) I'm hoping to continue to work in clay for many many more years, and I want to create very beautiful work to bring love and joy to you!
