I'm so moved by how many sellers on Etsy are doing something for this. It's a cause that hits close to home for so many people.

I'll be adding "Pink" items to my shop all month!

Cancer in many of its forms has taken so many of my friends and family away from me, so this cause is very near to my heart. Its so nice to see other crafters and artists helping out!

How wonderful to see people still caring for others so much. Is there somewhere I can find out when these events are coming up so I can join in the giving?

Oct. 9, 2008 at 9:13 p.m. evittscreekarts

How do I join a breast cancer awareness team? I can't find one on the list. This hits close to home and I want to be a part of the cause!!!!

I love the Etsy community! I'm a 3 year survivor and I donate chemo caps to my oncologists' office. Gotta pay it forward! Beautiful pieces featured here.

Oct. 16, 2008 at 3:21 a.m. BluCille

Donating to charity is always a wonderful idea. Just don't donate to Planned Parenthood because abortion is shown to significantly increase your risk for breast cancer thereby negating all your hard work to raise money for it! How frustrating to say the least, right?

Oct. 16, 2008 at 3:22 a.m. BluCille

And i love that "booby bot"!

Oct. 16, 2008 at 8:38 a.m. myaBwell

It is a great thing you are doing. It is important to raise the awareness and let people know how important it is to donate.

My 1 yr old niece has cancer too- but not breast cancer.
All my proceeds currently are going to help my sister pay for my niece's medical bills. Once we help with that, then I will donate to a cancer charity.
