Holiday Gifts for Him Showcase: On Sale Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 12 p.m. ET

Do the men in your life pose the ultimate gift-giving challenge? The Holiday Gifts for Him Showcase will be the go-to resource for innovative feats of masculinity. Dudes will be delighted to receive creative, out-of-the-box alternatives to the standard fare.

Info for Sellers
Get your items ready! Think cufflinks, geekery, artwork, woodworking, screen printed tees, jackets, and bags — anything appropriate for the men on our shopping lists. 

  • The Holidays: Gifts for Him Showcase goes on sale Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 12 p.m. ET.
  • Go to the Showcase Gateway to purchase a spot.
  • This Showcase will run from Monday, November 9, 2009 12 a.m. ET until Sunday, November 15, 2009, 11:59 p.m. ET.
  • For $15 USD, Etsy sellers can purchase a 24-hour spot, which will be linked from a prominent banner on Etsy's home page.
  • Sellers determine which item will be featured in your Showcase slot. Sellers must use the tool in Your Etsy > Promote > Showcase. Learn more about this process here.

Future Showcases

If you are thinking about planning for other Showcases that may be more appropriate for your items, here are some of the front page Showcases we will be highlighting:

  • Holidays: Stocking Stuffer Showcase: On sale November 12, 2009; the Showcase will be live from November 16, 2009 to November 22, 2009. .
    • Think about all the smaller items that can fit into a holiday stocking.
  • Holidays: Kids and Toys Showcase: On sale Thursday, November 19, 2009; the Showcase will be live from November 23, 2009 to November 29, 2009. 
    •   Think fun holiday gifts for children of all ages.
  • Holidays: Parties and Celebrations. On sale Tuesday, November 24, 2009; the Showcase will be live from November 30, 2009 to December 6, 2009. 
    • Think upcoming celebrations and the festive decor, glitz and fun attire for these events.

To say gift buying for men is a challenge is an understatement. This should be a huge help!

Should be a great showcase! The men in my life (husband/Dad/nephews,etc) are notoriously difficult to buy for! I've even found myself shooting more 'masculine' photos so that maybe I can give them some cool geeky art for Christmas! (Robby the Robot has even made it into my Etsy shop!)
