Today's Etsy Finds showcase a collection of daring and creative one-of-a-kind items found on Etsy. One-of-a-kind pieces, or OOAK, are those of a design that will not be replicated. While anything made by hand has its own personality that varies from piece to piece, one-of-a-kinds are characterized as one-offs or originals, and may show experimentation with materials or design. Many OOAK items on Etsy are made of found or recycled materials, and therefore cannot be duplicated.

The lucky buyer of an OOAK piece will be the only owner of this item, so if you see something you like, act quickly! You can also peruse the One-of-a-Kind Gifts in Etsy's Gift Guides or search the term "OOAK" to see more inspired originals.

One of a kind is such fun. it's a chance, as an artisan, to make something truly fun and original, but is outrageously difficult to replicate! And of course in this society, everything is mass produced, its so refreshing to have access to creative and beautiful one of a kind items!

FAbleBay is so right about the importance of the OOAK. We need to remember how spiritually enlightening it can be to realize that you can only have ONE. It teaches us moderation and pleasure in the singular.
