Fresh off Pet Fashion Week in New York City, People Magazine’s new website, People Pets, brings you the top five trends to keep your furry BFFs purrfectly in style this season. Trend 1: Faux-Fur Trimmed Coats
Just because your pet has a built-in coat, doesn't mean he can't wear another! Faux-fur details will keep your pooch warm — and looking red-carpet chic — for those long walks. AcmeCouture's coat, pictured above, brings an air of elegance, while her design below, That 70s Pup, has a kitschy twist.

Trend 2: Pet-People Separates
Is your pet a mini-me version of you? Embrace it! Matching pets-people separates are a fun — but still, thankfully, subtle — way to show your mutual love and devotion.
