The title is taken from a quote by The Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland, the full quote being “I’ve never trusted toadstools, but I suppose some must have their good points.”. The original piece is a mixed media collage using vintage envelopes, adverts and invoices, watercolour paints, gold sequins and free machine embroidery. It has quirky touches such as the toadstool, luggage for doors, dip pen for guttering, and sparks coming from a chimney where who knows what spells are being concocted. They certainly seem to have caught the eye of the folk in the balloon who have come for a closer look. hope those sparks don’t get the balloon!

It is printed on 280gsmSoft White Cotton Archival Fine Art Paper with archival inks.

The A3 frame like the one shown was bought from Amazon for £13.99 and you should get an A2 frame for around £20-£25. Please note frames are NOT supplied in this listing.
