This listing is an instant pdf download of the chart and instructions for this cute cat tea cosy knitting pattern. This pattern is suitable for hand knitters with some experience of the double knitting technique who are happy working from a knitting chart for colour-work (as no written text alternative is given for the cat face chart). The chart is also suitable for the intarsia technique if preferred (although the yarn amounts and tension may differ from the instructions).

The instructions are given for a cosy which, if worked to the stated tension of 22 stitches and 28 rows will be approximately 46cm circumference and 18cm high, and will fit a medium sized tea pot. It is knitted in DK weight yarns (light worsted weight) using the double knitting technique and takes 50g/101m (110yds) each of a light colour and a darker contrast colour. The cosy is knitted on 3 1/2mm (US size 4) straight needles and seamed.
