Frequently asked questions
How long will my furniture take to get to me?
Delivery time can be anywhere between 7 and 21 working days however we aim to have your order delivered within 2 weeks. Please make contact if you need something urgently.
Do you consider bespoke commission work?
Yes! Currently the lead time for commissions is between 6 to 8 weeks. This covers sourcing a suitable project to completion however please ask beforehand to check availability.
Can I come and visit you shop?
Unfortunately I work from home so this isn't possible however if there is anything you would like to look at further before purchase, please let me know.
Do you refinish furniture I already own?
Yes! However this does depend on the project, please contact me to find out more and consider delivery of the item to me in Leicestershire is an extra cost, I can arrange this for you though.
What kind of paints do you use?
I use a mixture of luxury brands depending on the project. I prefer chalk based paints for blending and handpainted details, however like to use modern eggshells with a smooth finish on furniture with a more contemporary design such as my mid century pieces.
What kind of courier do you use for delivery of smaller items?
For small items, I use a standard 24 hour courier service such as Parcel force or UPS. I can only do this though for items which can be boxed, amd please bear in mind that whilst quicker and cheaper this service will not insure vintage furniture in the event of loss of damage.
What kind of courier do you use for larger pieces of furniture?
For large items of furniture I use an independent courier. You piece will be bubblewrapped and then blanket wrapped in the van. This however is not a direct service, delivery depends on the amount of jobs a courier has in your location so will take between 7 and 14 days, sometimes longer depending on unforseen circumstances.
