Working with wheat and dried flowers is a passion of mine, since making my very first corndolly about 8 years ago, at a country fair in Essex, I have been inspired to learn the traditional craft of wheat weaving. My work combines the old techniques and designs of the craft with a contemporary approach to create unique and authentic jewellery and home decorations. It must be the ancient past and mystercism that surrounds wheat weaving that has captured my imagination, many of the designs used in my work have been around for hundreds if not thousands of years, it's an honour to be keeping the craft alive.
