If you want to personalize your dress, we can help you with the following:
- raising or lowering a neckline
- closing the back
- shortening or lengthening train or hem
- adding sleeves
-change of colour, if fabric can be sourced

*we can’t design a dress from scratch (your design) from the Etsy shop. This service is however available to local brides who can visit our Cape Town studio*

Regrettably no refunds or exchanges are available on custom gowns and sizes.

We offer standard US sizing 2-22, and custom sizing within this range.
To make a gown according to your personal measurements, select the Custom size option, then send us a message with your body measurements. We will instruct you how to, but recommend that you visit professional tailor for accuracy.
Please allow for up to 0.5 inch differences due to fabric variations and bodily changes. For the ultimate fit we recommend a final fitting with a dress maker.

Sizes above US 22 are available at an additional cost of 50 - 120 USD depending on extra fabric requirements.

All our gowns are made with delicate materials and fine fabrics such as silk, satin and chiffons.
Should a stain occur before the wedding day, a diluted stain remover and lukewarm water should do the trick.
Do not iron the dress. A gentle steam will erase any creases, or just let it hang a while.
Stains on the wedding day may be temporarily covered with chalk.

Handle your gown with care and always store in a dress bag in a dry, dark place.

Professional cleaning is standard to preserve the gown after the wedding. Remember to only use a reputable dry cleaner.
Unless the dress is heavily soiled, you might find that dry clean is unnecessary. This will preserve the fabrics longevity.
A spot cleaning and good airing might be sufficient.

Your gown will come packaged neatly in a beautiful box. We do not recommend to buy a wedding dress as a gift, but we can provide you with a gift card for this purchase.

If you purchase an accessory for someone, you may request gift packaging in the options when you check out. A small surcharge may be added depending on the size of the item.

The Sheer Bride collection is available for wholesale at favourable prices. Our recommended mark up is 150- 200% which allows for guaranteed profitability.

We make your gown from scratch with attention and care. Please allow for 3 months (up to 14 weeks) for you gown to be completed in its highest standard.

If you need a rush order, please contact us before you purchase. We will do all we can to have your gown ready in time.

In the extremely unlikely event of a manufacture fault, we offer a refund or exchange provided the following conditions are fulfilled:
-the gown is unworn, clean and unaltered
-the gown is returned within 10 days of purchase with a Return Authorisation number
-the gown is returned in original packaging

Returns or exchanges are not available for custom size or customised gowns.

We cannot refund or give credit for shipping, taxes or import duty costs paid.

We do not offer returns or exchanges on our accessories.
