The beginning of a new basket. First I audition the fabric, then cut strips and decide what order I like them. -
The strips are wrapped around 1/4 inch polycotton cord. This bundle is ready to be sewn into a purse. -
The purse is gradually shaped a row at a time. Each row is zigzagged together on the sewing machine. -
Almost finished, just need to add some shoulder straps. -
Every purse is slightly different. I love seeing if they evolve the way I think they will when I start.

Care instructions
These products can all be hand-washed. While wet, the piece should be gently tugged back into the original shape and left to air dry.
