I am a fashion and jewelry designer and also an author of several best selling interior design books. I was born in Israel, Graduated from a three-year fashion design program in Milan, Italy and rounded out my fashion education with courses in Interior, Industrial and jewelry design. In 2006 I moved with my husband and 2 kids to beautiful Montreal.
I own Impact Galerie, located in the heart of Old Montreal where I sell my own line and the work of artists from all over the world. The city’s many art galleries showcase the work of local and international artists, both emerging and established.
My work is inspired by nature, ancient cultures and even fairy tales. Creating new collections is always such an exciting process; I am always surprised that, after so many years, I can still develop a new idea into designing a full line.
Artisanimpact shop offers a unique variety of promise jewelry designs.
Promise rings are bestowed to symbolize a promise that one person makes to another.
This design shall be customized with your words, names, memories, dates or any idea you have in mind for a custom message. We hand-tool each letter with a punch, so no two will be similar. Our promise collection was selected to be a part of the "imagine" exhibition at the Musee des beaux arts" in Montreal in 2009.
The process of making the artisanimpact collection starts with findings and sketches of ideas for new models. The castings are made for me by a manufacturer in Montreal. Once the base castings are ready, my studio team then form, texture, solder , polish and finish the item. My idea turns into reality!
The basic design remains the same, but each piece looks slightly different. For instance, it can be a bit more or less oxidized.
The artisanimpact line features a variety of silver and brass reproductions of ancient coins in great settings made by hand, folding the rose or yellow gold edges all around the coin.
I’ve always been fascinated by the glamour, the richness and the mystery of statement rings. Big statement jewelry are genuine pieces of art!
Rings are my passion. When I start to design a new collection, First of all I make rings, rings and more rings. Once they are ready and I want to keep them all for myself. I continue to make matching pieces of the collection.
I learned that each natural gemstone has it's own meaning and properties. Sometimes, I write in the item description a bit about the stone. If it represents new beginnings, enthusiasm, devotion, friendship, intuition, creativity, luck and of course, how can we do without love ;)
The studio and gallery are located in Old Montreal
