I want to share my passion with people.
Drawing has always been my "thing". Since i can remember i find myself getting lost in this magical world of colours, materials and infinite possibilities.
In 2010-2013 i was a student of psychology (BA) and drawing helped me through the intense studies.
During my final year of the studies i began working on a series where i focused in on a very positive and special symbol known as the Hamsa hand (also known as the hand of Fatima / hand of Miriam / hand of Mary or the healing hand ).
I connected to the spiritual and cross-cultural aspect of the symbol as well as to the symbols often found within the Hamsa hand. Those were symbols such as the eye which is meant to ward of evil spirits, jealousy and to protect from so called "evil eyes". The fish symbolize fruitfulness, the dove ; peace and loyalty, the eagle; protection.
The investigation of these symbols in indian inks on paper culminated in an exhibition in Tel Aviv of 14 pieces that i chose to present. I called it "Hamsa Reinterpreted" as this was really a new take on an ancient symbol.
Ever since i have continued to create not only my Hamsa's but many different artworks as well.
Being a very curious person i am drawn to many sources of inspiration, materials and ideas - as such i have different styles and themes!
The prints i am offering for sale are beautiful digital prints on quality paper (250-300gr).
Due to their positive symbolism - the HAMSA's are suitable as gifts as well and are often given as gifts for a new home, new baby or for any occasion where one wishes a person protection, good energy, success and peace.
