This is another exquisitely detailed set based on "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carol. Like the Alice through the Looking Glass Chess set the depiction of the pieces are closely based on the superb illustrations by John Tenniel's as seen in the first edition although there is a slight Disney flavor to these ones as well.
Unlike the other set it is Reversal as opposed to Adversarial meaning the same pieces for both sides in contrasting or complimentary colours. You can get the set in any colours that you like, here i have played around with the idea of Dark Alice V Classic or Light Alice.
You can also choose to have it with or without accent touches or you choice of accent colours.

The set is Made to order and takes around 4-6 weeks from casting to completion. it can be a wee bit swifter depending on timing and workload. Creation times can get longer in the busy season especially mid September on if you have a time crunch or a specific date just message and i can give you solid confirmation.

Each piece is Cold-Cast by hand using Tufstone a polymer modified gypsum cement, then painted, glazed and felt bottoms attached.
The set requires a board with at least a 1 1/4 inch squares,
The King is 3 5/8 inches tall the Pawns are 2 1/8 inches

I make each piece as strong as possible these are essentially akin to a solid ceramic handled correctly they will last a lifetime but will break if dropped on a concrete floor for instance.The set is shipped with each piece individually bubble wrapped and laid on a bed of larger bubbles and packing peanuts.
