'Ag Smaoineamh Ort', is a small illustration studio, created and run by Saorla O'Sullivan in Co. Wicklow. Saorla is an Artist and illustrator with a long time Grá for the Irish Language. Having been educated through Irish and being a Naíonra teacher for some time, Gaeilge has always been part of her life. Saorla loves creating original illustrations, inspired by the changing seasons and the interesting colour palettes, textures and vibes that come along with them.
Saorla is a wife and a mother to her four beautiful children. She is also a proud cat Mam to her beloved black cat Kirby!
The name, 'Ag Smaoineamh Ort', translates as, 'Thinking of you'.The inspiration for the name comes from the idea of how sweet it is to send a handwritten card to someone you are thinking about, and how that small gesture might just mean the world to them.
All cards are printed on beautiful 285gsm recycled card, and all envelopes are made from recycled post consumer waste. Our protective film sleeves are made from corn starch and are 100% biodegradable and brown bin compostable. Even our postage envelopes and return address labels are made from recycled paper! All materials are sourced in Ireland, we love supporting other Irish businesses!
