Our flat valances can be purchased in width increments of a half inch (1/2" or 0.5"). All come with a 3-3/4" rod pocket sewn on top. Should be outside-mounted or inside-mounted using a curtain rod.

► STEP 1: WIDTH
Decide whether your valance will be an inside-mount, outside-mount, or frame mount and determine what valance width you need to order after following our guide above.

► STEP 2: LENGTH
Choose lengths from 7 inches to 22 inches. Please keep in mind that large fabric patterns will get cut off on short valances (usually valances less than 14 inches long).
► STEP 3: COLOR CHOICE
Some of our flat valances can be made in different colors. Please go through the pictures above, then type the chosen color in the "Add your personalization" box above. If you aren't sure about the color, you can find all our samples by copying and pasting the following page in your browser:

► STEP 4: ADDITIONAL OPTIONS FOR AN UPCHARGE
BLACKOUT LINING
Our flat valances come standard with an upgrade from the usually thin cotton/poly lining to a thermal suede lining, but it still only filters light coming through the main fabric partially. You have the option of upgrading to a thick 3-pass foam blackout lining. We highly recommend this upgrade if your valance will be directly up against the glass panes. To add it, please go to:

POLICIES
All cancellation requests must be received within 24 hours of purchase. Because we immediately start ordering materials from the mill after your order, we reserve the right to deny any cancellation request after 24 hours of purchase.
We will absolutely not honor any cancellations requests or requests to change sizes or other details if we have already paid the supplier for your materials or the material has been cut for your order. We respectfully ask to not purchase from us if you're not a serious buyer or haven't finalized your sizes yet.
Our custom work requires a lot of planning and time for each customer's unique order, so all sales are final except for errors in workmanship or damage.
The way a fabric looks in your home can differ for various reasons, from your computer monitor settings to how white or yellow the lighting in your room is. For that reason, we highly recommend purchasing fabric, lining,and trim samples first.
Measuring incorrectly or not liking a fabric are not valid reasons for returns. We provide detailed measuring instructions and offer fabric, lining, and trim samples to avoid this. Customers are responsible for fully reading the product descriptions and adhering to our measuring instructions.
Any requests for added features or labor outside the scope of what is specified on the purchased product page and invoice will be denied without prior approval from us and will be canceled. It is the customer's responsibility to ask any questions and read all pertinent product information offered before purchase.
We will honor a comment left in the Notes to Seller field or comment field (found on the shopping cart and checkout pages) only if you have prior communication and agreement from us
All other comments left on the checkout page will routinely be disregarded and WILL be canceled.
All upgrades must be purchased in the same transaction as the underlying window treatment. We will not honor any requests for upgrades separately from the original order after the purchase has already been made.
Most items ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) unless otherwise stated. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is entered on the checkout page and to hold mail if they are on vacation. Canadian customers are responsible for duty fees, taxes, or any other fees due.
