ABOUT LARRY COOLEY TURQUOISE:
The turquoise that this is made with, come from the late "Larry Cooley's" private collection. Mr. Cooley was one of the most reputably known turquoise vendors in the industry, who artists would go to when they wanted the highest quality turquoise for their own designs.. Since he was very knowledgeable, he knew what separated the junk from the premium grades & was committed to offering only the finest that each mine produced. He was one who wouldn't dare offer turquoise to someone, that he himself, wouldn't want. He was all about the best there was..

One would be right to say that, the turquoise he collected & sold, were qualities that only the finest of the finest "Turquoise Connoisseur's" would buy.. He had a vast collection of nothing BUT premium turquoise that were all natural, since his rocks were mined long before they started treating turquoise & had the best that each mine produced.

So these cuts are an excellent grade of natural turquoise, which is getting more & more difficult to find anymore, unless you're willing to pay top dollar per carat. That is if you can find any, since much has gone into private collectors hands & has become very valuable... After Larry's passing, everyone wanted dibs on his whole collection, but because of Federico's long time connection with Larry & Larry's family, he was fortunate to purchase this 'once in a lifetime' limited & very pricy collection(This is reflected in price) So once these stones are used up, they're gone!

THE RING:
There's only one designer that takes the words HUGE-COLOSSAL-MASSIVE-OVER THE TOP to a whole new level of meaning & that is the name Federico!! Just when you think you've seen his biggest,it's a ring like this that will knock your socks off & make your liver quiver!! Hands Down! They're getting bigger & bigger! This is a ring that is meant to be seen AND felt & is SO "Federico" & for most, this might just cover up all of your finger, it is that HUGE!! It's the biggest yet!

Designed with a abstract & very funky figural look,the ring is made with some lusciously green Royston turquoise where all the cuts are on the huge side & all but the face are in the 1-1/2" tall range & each have a LOT of carat weight to each stone! (See photo 5) Each cut is bigger than what some wear in a single setting & each of these pretty stones have their own wonderful finger print Royston character.

The stones are set atop of a hefty amount of sterling & weighs more than many cuffs! (see weight below) The shank is done in a adjustable bypass style that has light stamp work & is presently set at a size 8-1/4 and because of the bypass shank, makes it adjustable. I find that it's easier to go up in size,than to go down in size,so if you need me to go up a few sizes for you,(No more than) please let me know at the time of purchasing!! (Please see last photo) If you need it a size or so smaller,I suggest you take it to a reputable jeweler to do this.

"Dainty" isn't a word when describing Federico's jewelry & we that love our jewelry to "speak" & love to be able to express who we are through the jewelry we wear ,is one of the reasons why we gravitate toward anything Federico makes..It's all about making your presence known & being the ONLY 'Star of the Show"!!
