Introducing our Handmade Sympathy Card for the Loss of a Beloved Pet, created with heartfelt care and attention to detail. As a devoted full-time dog mom to a house full of special needs dogs, I understand the fragility of life and the profound sense of loss that comes with the passing of a cherished pet. Through my handmade sympathy cards, I aim to offer a small part of the comfort and solace that can help ease the pain of grieving.

This card is designed and written by me. I print the designs, cut and mount them and package them here in my studio. The card measures 5x7 inches and is made from acid free paper. The card comes wrapped in a sealed plastic envelope with an envelope seal. The front of the card is my original design and the poem is written by me.

This poem is copyrighted by the author, Nancy Halverson (me). The copyright was filed with the US Copyright office. My poem cannot be reproduced in any form.

Each card comes with a small packet of plantable paper shapes. There is 1 dog bone shape and 5 small hearts in the packet as well as an instruction card. Only the shapes in the packet are plantable. The sympathy card itself is not plantable as it is meant to be a keepsake. The color of the plantable shapes may vary based on what I have in stock.

I know that it can feel urgent to get a sympathy card to the bereaved as soon as possible so I ship my cards very fast (typically within 24 hours). I am also happy to hand write a message in the card for you and ship directly to the bereaved. Please make sure you put the bereaved's address as the "ship to" address and type your personal message in "notes to seller" when you check out.

I ship my cards USPS Ground Select (formerly called USPS First Class Mail) with tracking (I do offer an upgrade to Priority Mail as well). I package them in a waterproof mailer with extra cardboard in it to make sure the card arrives in perfect condition.
