Scratching is a natural behavior in cats, and if appropriate outlets are not provided, your furniture may suffer the consequences. While wild cats have ample natural objects to satisfy their scratching instincts, it's crucial to offer the same enrichment to indoor cats. These stylish wall-mounted cat scratching posts not only look great but are also designed to encourage this essential activity. This serves as a valuable source of enrichment and an opportunity for your cat to stay active. Create a designated area just for your cat and encourage their use of it with positive reinforcement, such as playtime and treats. Our preferred healthy treat option is freeze-dried chicken, which can be broken into smaller pieces to extend snack time.
✨A Unique Approach to Cat Scratching Posts
Our scratching poles are designed to be modular, allowing you to mount them in various configurations. You can connect the brackets to the mounting planks in multiple ways, offering the flexibility to install them at different distances from the wall. This feature comes in handy for creating additional scratching surfaces, whether by placing two poles side by side or running two poles in different directions to form modern cat scratching posts.
🤔Unsure About Your Stud Spacing?
Our Scratching Poles can be installed into a single stud. Our Angled Poles can be installed with one mounting point installed into the stud. The second mounting point can be installed into a stud or using drywall anchors. If you know the spacing between your studs, we offer specific size poles for both 16" and 24" stud spacing. Choose the size that suits your needs to ensure proper installation. The advantage of mounting both planks into wall studs is that it aligns you for future furniture additions that may also require stud support, like our cat hammocks.
🔷Replacement Sisal Segments

🔶Although we have the sisal rope glued in place, their purpose is to be scratched which will cause them to show wear and tear over time. These sisal pole sections can be easily replaced by simply removing two furniture bolts, without taking other furniture down from your cat’s wall. If you have a cat who favors scratching, then your segments will be worn through quicker, but this all depends on the activity level of your cat.
🧼 Cleaning instructions
Bamboo: You can dust, brush, or vacuum away any accumulated surface dirt. Use a soft cloth or sponge with mild soapy water. Make sure you wring out excess water and wipe the wood gently. We recommend an organic or natural soap rather than a harsh detergent. This is because a harsh soap can damage or discolor the natural sheen of the bamboo. Since bamboo is a reed plant, it is important to make sure you do not oversaturate the bamboo while cleaning.
Sisal: Use a mixture of sanitizer diluted with water with a rag or cloth to wipe down your Sisal Rope. If your Sisal Segment is beyond sanitizing or has become worn out due to cat use, we also sell individual replacement Sisal Segments that can easily be swapped out!

❤Our company began in Portland, Oregon in 2013 when we started building unique furniture concepts for our cats. We have always put a big focus on our testing process, which has been a very large part of our success. After we construct our prototypes, we install them in our home for a six-month period to see how our cats use the furniture and look for opportunities to improve the design prior to production.
❤For the first six years, we did all the design, woodwork, staining, and assembly ourselves, but as demand grew we had to expand into working with production partners to keep up with orders. Today, we design, prototype, and test all concepts at our facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Once the designs are finalized, we work with manufacturing partners located in Michigan, India, and China. The raw parts are shipped to our shop in Grand Rapids and our team assembles the furniture and ships it out worldwide.
