The cutlery items are not dish washer proof. I recommend that my items should be washed in warm soapy water rinsed and dried immediately. Do not leave to soak as you will lose the fabulous lustre of the pearl handles.

If you need a new canopy on your umbrella, or you fancy a fresh new colour I can always change it for you so long as the umbrella is one of mine.

Choosing a shaving brush: I currently do 3 types of bristle, 2 natural and 1 synthetic. The two natural bristles are best badger and the premium grade silvertip. Silvertip knots do cost a little more. Some men prefer to use synthetic hair. They work just as well but they have a different look and are odour free. If you see a brush for sale but would prefer a different bristle, then do get in touch and I can make to order for you.

It can be daunting choosing the right magnifier for yourself or as a gift. Do you go for larger size to make a statement or for the smaller more powerful lenses? The smaller the lens the better the magnification. The strongest magnification is 2.5x and the most popular strength is 2x, so start there and then after deciding who it's for, note their personal requirements and refer to my guide below.
For the ladies, it's easy as their favourite lenses, the 2.5" and 3" are the most powerful. For the men, big is good and sometimes the bigger the better. The 4" lens is the most popular size but has the weaker magnification. Can he forgo some power for the style he would love?
Where powerful magnification is essential, you should go for magnifiers with a 2.5" or 3" lens. Although the 1.75x magnification of the 4" lens is good enough for most men.
Traditionally, women love mother of pearl, men love horn. Sterling silver has always been unisex. Have fun choosing your magnifier and please remember that you are allowed more than one.

2.5" lens - 2.5x magnification - Small (petite). Great for the office or to keep in your handbag or the glove compartment of your car.
3.0" lens - 2.0x magnification -The most popular size for both him and her.
3.5" lens - 2.0x magnification - Medium large.
4.0" lens - 1.75x magnification - Large - Keep it on your desk.

Gift boxes: Most of my items arrive boxed, except for certain sterling silver bric-a-brac and umbrellas. If the listing show a picture of the item in a box then you know that it will arrive in a box. Mostly the boxes are branded. If you would prefer a plain box then do let me know when placing your order. Some items are just too big for my boxes. I'll try to remember to mention that in the listing. Apologies in advance should I forget.
