Runes are the oldest script of Northern Europe, preserved on stones in Germany and Scandinavia. The oldest runic inscriptions discovered in Scandinavia date back to the 3rd and 4th centuries AD.
In the ordered sequence of the Elder Futhark, there are 24 basic runes and one blank – this form was valid in most areas under the dominance of the Germanic peoples.
SPECIFICATION
The cipher wheel consists of three wheels.
One permanent and one movable - by moving the moving disk (and knowing the key) we can decipher the riddle. The game has a dimension from 10 cm (4 inches) to 48 cm (19 inch), letters and digits are laser engraved.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Each letter (or character) on the wheel corresponds to a letter (or character) on the other.
2. To decrypt/encrypt a message, you need to know/create a Key, for example: A = c, then B = d, C = e, etc.
3. Now encrypt your message. For each letter (or character) of your word, write down the letter on a smaller/larger wheel that appears directly below it - for example, the name ADAM becomes cfco if the Key is A = c.
4. Decryption will work in a similar way, knowing the key where A = c will decrypt cfco as ADAM.
ATTENTION
Each game is made from different batches of wood, so the photos may vary slightly compared to the actual item.
Photos are also taken in the photo studio with a hight exposure to best show every little detail.
