GENUINE ANTIQUE PRINT, NOT A MODERN REPRODUCTION. THIS PRINT IS ACTUALLY OVER 100 YEARS OLD. Lovely wood engraving relief print, over 100 years old and in really nice shape. NOTE: scans of engravings will sometimes create a weird 'optical effect' called Moire Effect in the scan. The actual artwork doesn't have that weird optical illusion effect, just the scan has that so NO WORRIES -- actual engraving looks great.
TYPE OF PRINT: Wood Engraving 1880s/1890s typogravure style, produced one-side only. Shown cropped in scan to save on file size, but actual margins ample and overall print is larger than shown in scan. Genuine original antique print (some of the Dores I'm listing have the plate number at bottom of artwork and others have the plate number on the separate letterpress sheet that accompanies the item -- comes with original seperate letterpress history regarding the print.
SIZE: sheet size about 11 1 /2 x 9 (approximate) with around 1" marginal space all around.
Condition: Very Fine. SATISFACTION ASSURED.
