After making my Pizza placemats (you can find them in my pattern store) I had leftovers of Farmer's market collection fabrics. First I was going to make some mug rugs or coasters, but then I had a better idea: to add a non-slip backing to it and use it as a jar opener! So I decided to use those squares for multiple use: coasters or mug rugs with non-slip backing and jar opener when needed!
I also tried to avoid using binding, making the edges smooth and neat. The back side looks just like squared picture frame! There is no outside stitches, all seams are hidden.
Colorful fabrics will decorate any table, any time of a year!
Will make a nice gift to anybody!
