What is Gold Filled?
Gold fill is not to be mistaken for gold plated. Gold plated has a very thin layer on top of metal that easily wears off. However, the 14/20 or 14k gold fill used in this listing is a solid thin layer of gold on top of copper (for rose gold) and brass (for yellow gold). The difference between gold fill and 14k is that there is a thinner portion of the material but both can last a lifetime with proper care.
