Perle cotton is a mercerized, twisted, non-divisible cotton thread used in various forms of embroidery. It has a subtle sheen and stitches smoothly through a variety of base fabrics. It is available in three sizes – 5, 8 and 12. Size 5 is the heaviest, size 8 is a medium weight and size 12 is the finest (comparable to 2 strands of floss). Cotton floss is a divisible thread consisting of 6 strands, used as single or multiple strands.
Colour Complements threads are hand dyed in unique, original colour combinations in small quantities to ensure vibrancy. Colours are blended in shorter lengths enhancing any needlework project. Ideal for cross stitch, embroidery, Hardanger, Schwalm, crazy quilting, needlepoint, canvas work, Blackwork, applique, wool applique, Sashiko, tassels, tatting and crochet. Regretfully, I am unable to guarantee my threads are colour fast despite repeated rinsing.
** I attempt to achieve colour accuracy in my photographs but be advised that all monitors display colours differently.
