Highlights
I have created several designs that I am proud of, but which I don't like to sell. These items are difficult to assemble and/or fragile, and I must charge more for them than they are worth. This ladybug magnifier necklace is one such item. Since I feel I'm overcharging for this item, for each one purchased I will make a $5 donation to charity.
This necklace depicts the ladybug, or ladybird beetle, perhaps the most adorable and beloved of insects! Friend to gardeners and to the growing things they tend, the ladybug, which helps to control aphids and other pests, is both a sign and a bringer of good luck.
This ladybug pendant is carefully crafted, and has built in functionality that will make it doubly delightful to horticulturalists and nature lovers! Cast in two parts with a two-tone finish of antiqued pewter and Copper, the elytra (shell) of this ladybug can be swiveled up to reveal a handy magnifying lens.
The 8x magnifying lens is acrylic, and measures about 16mm diameter. Necklace comes with a colorful diagram explaining ladybug morphology.
