Happy collar making!! I have worked hard to create and test this pattern and write up its tutorial! These collars were designed to be worn by people as a costume accent, but are also a cute feature on larger breed dogs as well! If you are making for an actual animal, I make note within the tutorial where to take special care for a strong collar if yours is going to a pet dog.

It is highly appreciated if you use or adapt these techniques on projects, that you share credit that you learned it right here from Matrices.net using my patterns and guides. That way others can discover my tutorials and make their own collar, too!!

Nice tutorial! I could’ve used a video because I don’t really like reading and it looked way more complicated with like 10 pages to read but it’s actually a very nice craft. I only used the fabric and no stabiliser whatsoever on my collars! Just made my first ones today! 1 for fursuit and 2 smaller ones for pets

Surprisingly easy to make! This was my first time ironing and I had to hand sew the whole thing but it was still easy to follow and understand the instructions. Will look amazing on my suit when I finish it.
