Very Tall and Lean Mountain Lion Cat Souvenir from Glacier Park. 1970's Nemadji like Pottery Mid Century Style wild cougar with glass or plastic green eyes. 22 1/4" tall, 5 1/2" wide, about 7" deep. The bottom is marked "Glacier Park" and "Scented Pottery. There is an impressed mark on the bottom. I can read "12... and I can't make out the 3rd figure. There were a number of pottery factories that worked in this Nemadji type pottery for National Parks in Western United states. Many of them the Scented pottery.. I think it was pine scented, however the scent has worn off over the past 50 years. This big cat is in excellent condition - no chip or cracks. If you know someone who is a cat lover, or someone who loves nature and wildlife, this would make a perfect gift.
