Soil pellets are concentrated disks of soil that expand when watered to fill the pots. They make a fertile growing medium that is also convenient for recipients so they don't have to find their own soil first before planting.

Growing with these special biodegradable pots makes everything easier too — just plant the entire pot right in the ground. No plastic waste left over.

Using a plantable, biodegradable pot reduces stress to delicate seedlings. The fiber allows the plant roots to grow right through the sides of the pots instead of balling up inside a plastic pot. Mold growth is minimized and plants grow stronger with these pots. All pots are made from 100% peat-free renewable plant fiber. A wise and sustainable choice for the earth.

............ PLANTING SEEDS ............
We make all of our seed paper on a made-to-order basis to ensure freshness. The seeds included in the paper are a mix of annuals and perennials that include poppies, shasta daisies, snapdragons, pink cosmos, zinnia, cornflowers, dianthus, coreopsis, marigolds, columbine, and more. They are a mix of annuals, for first year color, and perennials for blooms in the years to follow. Planting instructions are included. You'll need to let me know if you need a separate set of planting instructions for each favor. I can send you a PDF of several to a sheet so you can print out as many as you need. Plant as you would other seeds. Keep the paper dry and out of direct sunlight until you're ready to plant it.

..... ASSEMBLY .....
Favors do need some assembly, which involves stuffing the pots with the goodies and tying the ribbon around them. The ribbons are pre-cut to the correct length. Box favors have the boxes ship flat and need to folded into shape on arrival, then place contents inside and tie the ribbon on the outside. Because not every busy party planner has time to spare, you can request our 'white glove' service and have the favors assembled ready-to-go for you. They arrive fully assembled, with the ribbons tied and contents inside the pots. This service is $4 per favor. Please contact us if you would like this added service *before* placing your order. We definitely recommend enlisting help from friends and family, it goes faster and is more fun — and saves a lot on the cost of favors.
