"What a fun little craft! I would think this is an excellent gift idea for any sewing beginner interested in expanding their skills - you get exposure to fusible interfacing, zippers, and tabs. Additionally, I found it SO helpful to get this sort of project in kit form - saves the time finding coordinating fabrics, interfacing, correct size zipper, other hardware, pattern, etc… HUGE time saver in case you don’t have an abundance of free time for crafting. The project took me 3 naptimes, ha! I should say 3 separate sessions of like 1 hour each (so there was setup and pickup each time). I’m slow, also if you can work on it in one go and you don’t run into sewing machine trouble, it’d probably go faster. Such a fun experience and I’m proud of my adorable little bag! Pen for scale!"

"My kit arrived really quickly, so no complaints there. This was a fun project, but I found the use of the plastic sleeve difficult. I ended up pinning the edges of the plastic down, and it was still hard to get enough pressure to make solid contact between the object and the paper. Even the included instructions recommend a sheet of glass over the included cellophane. Some of my papers also had the cyan compound incompletely applied, so the edges have white space with blue brushstrokes running through instead of being solid blue. I guess it lends a handicraft style to the prints, but I personally would have preferred the more solid blue background. Overall, this is a nice intro to cyanotypes and was fun to do with my kids, but I wouldn't expect to make gift-quality/frameworthy art with this kit alone."

"Exactly what I needed to keep my projects tidy! Thanks! The print feels sturdy, and the kit is well designed.My hero board did not fit exactly (I guess the one I got from a kit -from Inventr.io- was slightly different from the classic board). Considering how well everything fits, my guess is that a regular Arduino Mega would have be held perfectly. I had to spend a few minutes with a sharp X-acto knife to cut a couple of spots to accommodate for these variations (locations highlighted in blue on the detail pic), and the holder held really well to this operation. Thanks for the great product!"

Every aspect of component choice, component placement, general design principles; it’s all very well considered. I felt a bit pampered when I opened the box. :) Your mileage might vary, of course.
