It all started with our book "Rosie's Daughters: The 'First Woman To' Generation Tells Its Story," by Matilda Butler and Kendra Bonnett. It's the collective memoir of the women born (during WWII) to the Rosie the Riveter generation. As we started to promote the book, we thought it would be fun to wear Rosie's iconic red-and-white polka dot bandana. But we couldn't find one...anywhere. So we made our own.

And the rest is, well, history. Today we sell bandanas, Rosie employment badge collar pins, cute little bags of rivets, "We Can Do It" posters sans Rosie making them great for posing for your own picture...and lots more. And we have new goodies in the works. Every product we create is based on historical accuracy.

Rosie has turned into a popular character for Halloween costumes. And that delights us. Women are taking back their Halloween persona, moving away from the nurse or witch and using their costume to make a statement about their personal strength, courage and "can do" nature.

So we say, Rock Your Dots and make Rosie your personal role model.

BUT WAIT…
After winning four awards for our collective memoir, we began teaching memoir writing and are now in our ninth year. Almost from the start, we decided to create a product line that would inspire women to write or tell about their lives and to share their legacy-- organic special blend teas, unique tea mugs, Thai silk journals, and more.

Sales began to take off and to our surprise, many were bought as gifts not just for writers but for women who were taking the time to think about their own lives. So recently, we decided to make this product line available more widely through our Etsy store. We hope you will explore these items as well and that they inspire you to reflect on your life.
