I am the owner of the Sol Forge. I have a degree as a blacksmith as well as another in design. I do architectural work and functional designs for several builders and architects in the northwest. My company has performed custom work on commission and I also develop my own designs. We have fulfilled contracts across America.

I truly enjoy the artistic expression involved in metalsmithing and blacksmithing. Getting the metal heated to a plastic like state, then hammering and shaping the material is so raw and beautiful. I love bringing the metal from its beginning form to the finished piece, not for the resulting product but for the process that gets me there.
