A repeat customer to my go to site! This infinity scarf is plush, soft, and warm. Drape on long accentuating the one full twist or double. Either way, the silver stripe throughout is a lovely, sparkly accent.

About 19th & Whimsy

Welcome to the corner of 19th & Whimsy! It's the intersection where contemporary fashion meets an element of whimsy. My name is Lauren Hayashibara and I'm the independent owner and designer of 19th & Whimsy. My online shop launched in Honolulu in 2012 and is now based in Los Angeles so I could be closer to my family. I specialize in women's contemporary clothing: casual chic styles for every day as well as styles that can effortlessly go from day to night. The brand is all about incorporating a whimsical element: an exclusive print, hand dyed fabric, or simply a little bit of sparkle, into fun and modern styles. I combine a mix of high fashion, resort, and basics to create collections that can be mixed and matched, layered, and worn anytime, anywhere.

19th & Whimsy is proudly designed and made in America. I design all my women's body styles, patterns, original printed fabrics, and artwork. Fabrics are sourced from around the world. Most styles are cut and sewn by me in my home studio and select styles are manufactured in Honolulu, LA, and NYC. I hope you find something special here!

Hello! My name is Lauren Hayashibara. My 19th & Whimsy clothing brand and online shop launched right here on Etsy from Honolulu in 2012. I moved back to Los Angeles in 2017 to be closer to family and I’m happy to say that the story continues!

Shipping
Most orders ship via USPS Ground Advantage. Select orders ship via USPS Priority Mail.

Returns
Returns are accepted on qualifying non-custom, undamaged, & unworn items postmarked within 21 days of delivery. Return your item(s) to my mailing address enclosed on your order receipt & be sure to send me your tracking #. I will issue your order cancelation & refund shortly after I receive your return.

Exchanges
Before completing the return step above, please contact me so I can confirm if I have the fabric/inventory. Your new item will be made after receiving your returned item.

Please note: You are responsible for properly packaging the return, return shipping cost, sending me the tracking #, & shipping within 21 days of delivery.

Care instructions

To extend the life of your garment, I recommend hand washing or machine washing in a garment bag with cold water and like colors and laying flat to dry.

Sizing details

My size chart is the last photo on every clothing listing. The measurements are general body measurement ranges each size is meant to fit.

Custom and personalized orders

I do not make fully custom designs. But I'm happy to customize my existing made to order items with a slightly shorter or longer length. For example, if you'd like a longer dress, please leave a note in the "note to seller" section at checkout something like, "2 inches longer". Please note that custom orders do not qualify for discounts and cannot be returned.
