Really nice gift. The box itself is a nice memory keepsake box. Item was damaged in-transit and seller replied back and sent a replacement straight away! Would definitely recommend, great product and seller!

We are a husband and wife team

We're Kate and John, the husband & wife team behind A Year of Dates.

In 2014 John gave me a date jar. He’d filled 72 envelopes with date ideas, he'd got a bit carried away! Every Monday morning I opened an envelope and we had to make an effort to do what the card said that week. It was exciting, some ideas weren’t what I’d choose to do but we made it fun, and most importantly we made time for each other in our busy lives – something we all can forget to do!

Everyone we spoke to about it said ‘that’s a great idea, I wish I had time to do that'. Well now you don’t need to make that time – and there’s a surprise for both of you as you open each envelope!

As parents we also know that making time for your partner can be tricky, so there are colour coded dates - for when you can't always get a babysitter!

Since setting up the business we've added gifts for other occasions - birthdays, baby showers & anniversaries . All our products include envelopes keeping the suspense going all year.
