Angela Lovett Designs is a collection of one-of-a-kind necklaces handcrafted with antique and vintage silver, gold, and brass beads, amulets, and pendants sourced from North Africa, India, Central Asia, and the Middle East. Each design blends ancient materials and modern aesthetics, transforming centuries-old craftsmanship into contemporary adornment.
Every necklace tells a story — a fusion of culture, history, and artistry. The beads and pendants I use have travelled across time and continents. I’m inspired by the questions they hold: Who first wore them? What did they symbolize — love, protection, status, or identity? My goal is to give these pieces new life while preserving the spirit of the women who once wore them.
As an artist, I’m deeply drawn to color, texture, and contrast. I hand-select gemstones with distinctive hues, antique finishes, and unique cuts to complement each cultural element. Every necklace is designed with intention — to be modern, wearable, and meaningful.
Before I began jewelry design, I worked in graphic design, fashion, and web design — creative disciplines that continue to influence my aesthetic. My lifelong love for travel and tribal art naturally evolved into this passion for creating wearable art that connects past and present.
