Look around
I graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in 2000, with a degree in Jewelry and Fashion. I've been working in the field ever since — from my home studio, where I create original pieces, take custom orders, and sometimes teach. I opened this shop to reach further — I travel little myself, but through my jewelry, a part of me does.
My inspiration comes spontaneously from the everyday minor things that surround me — vintage tools, household objects, straw baskets, the quaint handle on an old suitcase, an enigmatic part of some mysterious device I once found on a walk. It can also be the way various flowers and plants are structured, a rainwater puddle, or silver and gold grain after refining. I like to take something casual or utilitarian and transform it into something precious.
I don't skimp on time when I make my pieces — usually one at a time, or in small series. I wish the energy I put into my jewelry would pass to the wearer and last a long time.
Style, for me, is never something to limit: I blend modern forms with ethnic motifs, organic shapes with mechanical ones. This mix reflects my fascination with the variety of shapes, structures, materials, and colors I encounter.
