Mama and Charlie Boo
Hi all! Mama here! (aka Laura... but everyone knows me as Charlie's Mama)
In June of 2021 I met this little dog at a local rescue. No one wanted him because he was older, had no teeth, and was very tiny. I was actually there to see another dog, but once I saw this little fella, I couldn't resist asking if I could hold him. It was love at first hug. I named him Charlie Boo and he settled into our new life together right away. He is pure love and wants nothing more than to be loved and give love. I started a Twitter account for him to spread the love that was more than his little heart could contain! Together, we do tweets filled with pawsitive energy and Charlie loves to pose for cute pictures!
Shortly after I adopted him, my mother had a bad fall and was in a rehab facility across the country. I packed up Charlie Boo and headed there. We spent a month with her before, sadly, she passed away. We spent another month on the road, mourning, healing, becoming even more bonded. Charlie Boo came into my life at exactly the right moment to be the loving soul and constant companion I didn't know I would need. We traveled over 7000 miles and he was a real trooper, happily riding in his car seat and enjoying all the rest stops and parks along the way.
When we finally returned home, I had trouble finding work and couldn't bear the thought of a job that would keep me away from Charlie Boo for 9 or more hours a day. Since Charlie adores clothes and especially bandanas, we talked it over and decided a bandana business I could do from home just might be the perfect solution! So here we are, Mama and Charlie Boo, starting a new adventure together with Boo Dog Bandanas... and yes, he is the Boo in Boo Dog!
