There’s a Nepali proverb that translates to “If you do things right, you never have to worry”. At Bags from Beyond, our products reflect this mission statement

In a time when the fashion industry is saturated with harmful dyes, plastics, and other irresponsible baddies, we contribute to breaking the mold. Made with natural, recycled,  renewable, and durable materials like hemp and cotton, Bags From Beyond exude quality and durability for the casual college bacpacker to the mountain climber in all of us.

The Spirit of of this proverb can also be found in  the women who make the bags. Artisans from Peru and the Himalayas  from underpriviledged backgrounds with very limited opporunities for employment have found new hope in the this time honored craft. These women lovingly hand-make each Bag From Beyond, earning a fair wage to support their family and broaden their education, giving a new hope for the future against all odds.
