Our Beginnings
Battle Green was established in 2018. As huge nature and animal lovers, we were feeling increasingly concerned by the stream of reports on the negative environmental impact humans are having on the planet. For example, around 100 million marine mammals die from plastic pollution each year.
Based in beautiful Snowdonia, North Wales, we have a range of eco-friendly alternatives to everyday items – at the heart of which is our handmade award-winning and plastic-free natural cosmetics. Alongside these products, we offer a selection of sustainably made reusable items and zero waste kits, designed to help you reduce waste and single-use plastic in the home and on-the-go. Each Battle Green gift box plants a tree.
We make our cosmetics by hand, here in Wales, and they are PETA-certified vegan and cruelty free. All products are minimally packaged in recycled card, and we only post out using plastic-free, compostable and recyclable packaging.
We are proud to be members of the Surfers Against Sewage club for businesses since 2018, making monthly donations to help support the charity's work cleaning up our beaches and waterways.
